About

My name is Thomas Lehmann and I am currently a teacher at Brockwood Park School in Hampshire, England, an international boarding school founded by the educator Jiddu Krishnamurti in 1969.

I created the Care for the Body project in 2012 – during my time as a mature student (volunteer) at the school – with the motivation of raising more awareness on a multitude of issues regarding one of Brockwood’s intentions, which is to “learn the proper care, use and exercise of the body”. My intention was thus to open up a space to look at topics such as stress, sleep, movement, alignment, flexibility, diet and nutrition, the importance of a physical practice or routine and our relationship to nature – and their impact on our health and well-being.

This blog however, is not only meant to create a resource on movement, health and well-being for Brockwood students and teachers alone, but for anyone interested in moving towards a healthier, more movement-orientated lifestyle (pun intended ;)).

For more information on Brockwood Park School, please visit its official website, its facebook page, or even become a Friend of Brockwood through a newly created website for that purpose.
